Ongoing support for technical and business assistance to indigenous women in the departments of Chimaltenango and Sololá, enhancing the marketing of their handmade products.
The project provides continuity to the FABRE Foundation-funded project “technical and business assistance to production solidarity groups of indigenous women in the departments of Chimaltenango and Sololá” that has provided a timely assistance to 40 women – comprising 8 solidarity groups – to access and stay in more profitable markets in a sustainable manner. The new project takes advantage of this experience to promote the incorporation into the production process and the market of:
• Individual beneficiaries.
• 10 new productive groups, in order to achieve a permanent and solid cohesion.
