Intensive technical and entrepreneurship training to 60 women from villages and hamlets of six municipalities in the departments of Chimaltenango and Solola

The project aims to provide these 60 women with an alternative source of income by offering technical and entrepreneurship training that require no schooling. These are intensive training programs (6 months) in four technical areas that are in demand in local markets. The main goal of the programs’ methodology is to achieve that the beneficiaries, as of the third month, can participate in production workshops, so that the income generated stimulates them to continue their training and to generate productive self-employment. The training methodology includes integrated operational objectives in these areas: technical, business and human. It also includes support and mentoring the beneficiaries from day one.
