Promoted the right to food in the peasant communities of Cuchayo and Mostazas, Municipality of Ayabaca, Peru

This intervention will improve the nutritional state of 210 children in a fundamental stage for child development. Food, nutrition, and hygiene practices will be sThis intervention has three components: efficiently manage the fulfillment of the right to food and the improvement of the quality of life with healthy and sustainable practices at the household level and in the communities of action; improve women’s participation in the local socio-economic development by exercising their social, economic, and political rights in coordination with the SDGs; diversify and increase farming production with the implementation of 6 agro-ecological practices, managed with gender and environmental perspective.trengthened by providing them with a nutritional supplement. 60 peasant women and their families will be involved in the project, implementing: 60 improved kitchens, development of abilities for their proper use and maintenance, good practices in health and environment, which will decrease smoke and tree felling, allowing them to have more spare time for training and implementation of good practices in food preparation. This has a direct effect on good nutrition and better living conditions of children.
