Access to Potable Water in Meneké Project (San Pedro, Ivory Coast)

This project will provide accessibility to potable water in Meneké village. The ethnic group Kroumen is currently based there and are mainly dedicated to fishing for self-consumption. The lack of potable water is leading to high incidences of diseases and deaths, which could be easily avoided, among the most vulnerable population: children, women (mostly pregnant women) and elderly. For this reason, the project’s main goal is the construction of a water tank with a capacity of 6000L which will provide potable water for 600 people.
